Leadership

Giving students the opportunity to reach their leadership potential...

Every contact we have as individuals is actually potential influence for good or for bad. That means influence equals leadership! The question we need to explore now is, "Am I a good leader?" Here are some of our previous topics which fall mainly into 3 categories:

Spiritual formation - "Who is the leader?"
Skills formation - "How does he/she lead?"
Strategic planning - "How can he/she lead sucessfully?"
grade 9
“Yet such is oft the course of deeds that moves the wheels of the world: small hands do them because they must, while the eyes of the great are elsewhere.” Master Elrond (The Lord of the Rings, book 2, ch. 2)

There is a great divide between the self-importance of pride and the clear vision of the humble; and as Master Elrond hints, it's the little ones that do the big deeds!

Here are some questions for you...

Some Biblical perspective on these questions can be found in Matthew 23, Proverbs 16:18, and I Peter 5:6

If you are interested in our leadership training material, you can find most of our sessions on-line. Go to ecaspain.com/.. training.htm. Other sessions are being uploaded at .../training2.htm.

Goals of Leadership Training at ECA:

  1. Continued integration of leadership concepts within the student body and school community
  2. Expansion to include other students interested in leadership development
  3. Training students to teach other students in a “safe environment”
  4. Training of next year’s leadership team (to serve in special capacities in and out of school and help train others in Christian leadership)
